The other day when I was reading an article online from a newspaper with the title of courier, I got to wondering why some newspapers use that word in the title. I figure it must be because a newspaper traditionally was the fastest delivery source for news. Likewise, using the services of a Toronto courier should be the fastest way of delivering documents, images or packages in the Toronto area.
This was on my mind because one of my friends recently accepted a job as a courier. She does time-sensitive deliveries that usually need to be somewhere in the metro area the same day. Sometimes the item is designated for overnight delivery, however. This Toronto courier business is an independent company that does work for any number of businesses. My friend mainly transports packages from one place to another, but she also sometimes transports legal documents. She picks the item up at one location and delivers it to another place, and uses tracking software to verify when the item arrives at its destination. The timeliness of the service is vital for the courier company to keep its current customers and gain new ones through word-of-mouth recommendations. My friend says the company is very busy.
