Riding in a Stamford Airport Shuttle Is My Preference
I have to fly to Stamford on business twice a month. I always stay at the same hotel and I take a Stamford airport shuttle to get there, and then I take the shuttle back to the airport on the day I leave. I schedule the private car ahead of time. Doing all this makes the in-town travel very convenient.
This shuttle service also can take me to the office building, so I have them do that if the company isn’t sending somebody over to the hotel to pick me up. I actually prefer riding in the Stamford airport shuttle because it gives me time to drink a cup of coffee and catch up on some e-mail on the way over. In contrast, when one of the managers picks me up, essentially it’s like having to start work early. The last time I was riding in the Stamford private car on my way to work, my young daughter called because she had just finished reading a chapter book for the first time. She has a learning disability, so this was a very big deal for her. If I had been riding with one of the company employees, I wouldn’t have been able to take that call.
