RUSH Imprint
Tuesday, May 31st, 2011Rush Imprint was established in the seventies. This was around the time when our population had just experienced life in a way the world never had. Success stories of overcoming addictions, poverty and finding true love were scattered throughout. These people that had these experiences wanted to find a way to express themselves. They wanted to be heard. They wanted to create published guidelines for others who might have this same foreign struggle occur to them. That was why Rush Imprint was founded.
It is a publishing company that publishes books for the average Joe. They manifest an opportunity for people to help people. Rush Imprint created their name in a meaningful way. Rush spelled out R.U.S.H. has meaning behind its letters. R stands for reasonable. The owners established a baseline price that writers could afford. They printed ten books for free. This made it possible to get the book loved among many, then a demand for more to be written became evident. U stood for united. The goal was to unite the writer with their readers and thus unite the country with empathy and charity toward one another and their troubles. S stood for security. The company offered security by providing a useful way for someone to express themselves in a secure way. H stood for helping. Rush Imprint was completely dedicated to their people and that is why it became so prominent. People were seeking to understand and to be understood and heard. What a beautiful solution to a crumbling nation.
